Controlled action urea

Convertec is a new supplement that provides non-protein nitrogen in a controlled manner developed by Efice S.A. It offers a technological and economic alternative to the disadvantages posed by the use of urea both for the producer and for pre-mixer companies and ration factories.

Supplementation with urea as a source of non-protein nitrogen implies a risk of intoxication. One way to minimize it is by using controlled-action urea. As an alternative Efice S.A. developed Convertec, a new product in liquid presentation that allows a homogeneous mixture avoiding segregation in the mixture.

Convertec reduces the risk of emission of ammonia and favors its use because it keeps it soluble in the rumen.
